Wrapping up this project, we didn't get done everything that we needed to. There is still editing and designing that banner to go across the pictures to be done. Although we didn't end up finishing this project, we got done the hardest part of it, which was taking down the wall and scanning all the photos. We also touched up a few photos that were really noticeable damaged. All of the pictures have now been saved into a digital file on google drive so other people can continue this project next year. Below are a few pictures of how we have organized and saved the photos onto files.

Since we have just recently finished the wall, it is now time to start scanning all of the photos. To do this, we used a little scanner that was provided to us to scan the smaller pictures. Once scanned, we saved them to the computer and have been organizing them by year. Some of the bigger posters though can not be scanned with the small scanner. For this problem, we found an app on to scan the photos on our phone. From there, we airdropped them to the computer and are continuing to sort them by year. Below are a few pictures of our progress.
The startupEntering this quarter, Brenna and I were at a lose for a service project. With no ideas, we went to someone who we knew could help: Mr. Volez. He, of course, had a great project for us. He wanted us to take down the picture hall of fame that was in the school. We were told that we were going to digitize them to be used later on when the school lobby is finished. With this in mind, we started the project. Taking down the wallThe process of taking down the wall took us about two and half weeks all together. We started off using just a handheld screwdriver to take the paneling down, but that took too long so we found some power tools and got to work. After that the process started to move much faster and we were getting down a whole row sometimes two rows of pictures a day. We JUst finished up taking down all the pictures, paneling, and plexiglass this week. Below are some pictures of our progress. What comes next...Next, we will start scanning all of the pictures onto the computer so that we can touch them up and add a new banner to them. This will require photoshop and a digital scanner for the photos. This will most likely be the hardest part of the project. It will require a lot of work and attention to detail. After this, the photos will be done and ready to be put into a presentation to be played in to the lobby.
